The use of Wood Blinds in Exclusive Hotels

Window blinds are used throughout the world, and come in a wide variety of different configurations and materials. Window blinds are also known as window shades, and are often associated with modern interior design and aesthetics. Window blinds are used in many exclusive hotels and restaurants, especially in modern establishments who wish to offer a sense of style and sophistication to their guests. While there are a wide range of different window shades on the market, wood blinds are often used in large hotels and office spaces as a way to accent architectural features and create a sleek and exclusive look. Wooden blinds are generally known as Venetian blinds, although there are some unique styles of wooden blinds that can also be found in hotel environments.

In a common wooden blind configuration, horizontal wooden slats are joined together and controlled by corded pulleys which come in a range of different configurations. These corded pulleys can either gather all the slats together at the top of the window or simply angle the slats to allow light to travel though. Some wooden blinds can perform both of these functions, with different cords to open up the blinds and angle the individual slats. When wooden blinds are used in hotel settings, their placement will affect the choice of configuration, with some blinds never needing to be opened entirely and others acting as flexible coverings that need to be gathered together in order for people to access a view.

Wooden blinds come in a large variety of finishes, depending on the wood that is used, the paint that is used, and the size of the individual wood slats. Some of the most exclusive quality wood finishes that are often seen in hotel settings include many varieties of oak. The width of the wooden slats that is used in these types of blinds can be customised according to individual requirements, although there are three common widths that in production. These three widths are 25mm, 35mm, and 50mm, with larger widths more common in large hotels environments. As well as their common horizontal configuration, Venetian blinds are also available as vertical blinds, where wider slats are generally used. Wooden blinds are the ideal product for exclusive modern hotels, due to their bold look and the way that they complement the architecture of a room.
