CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW: The Nature Conservancy in Minnesota is proud to meet all standards of the Charities Review Council. As a charity, we hold ourselves accountable to our members and the public and we continually strive to exercise integrity beyond reproach as we pursue our mission. Primarily supported by individual donations, the Conservancy has protected more than 400,000 acres in Minnesota, ranging from our great North Woods to native grasslands – the Earth’s most threatened habitat type. We also work to restore and preserve water quality in lakes and rivers, including Lake Superior and the Mississippi River. Our Minnesota Chapter is part of an international organization active in every state in the nation and around the world. The Nature Conservancy’s approach is science-based, results-oriented and non-confrontational, allowing us to forge partnerships and work at the scale necessary to protect the Earth’s natural treasures for the benefit of future generations. | | | NON-CASH DONATIONS
