The mission of The ALS Association, Minnesota Chapter is to lead the fight to cure and treat ALS through global, cutting-edge research, and to empower people with Lou Gehrig's Disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support.

    CHARITY RESPONSE TO REVIEW:
    The ALS Association, Minnesota Chapter serves the 300-400 people living with ALS in Minnesota, Fargo, ND and Superior, WI. We provide direct services to the patients and families living with ALS. These include; the Hrbek-Sing Communication and Assistive Device Program, the Jack Norton Family Respite Care Program, a Durable Medical Equipment Loan Pool, patient and family consulation and support, education resources, a lending library, volunteer programs, a bi-monthly newsletter, and advocacy. We also support nationally directed ALS research. We are pleased to take part in the Charities Review Council's Accountability Review. This opportunity allows us to show our donors, sponsors, and the people we serve that The ALS Association, Minnesota Chapter strives for excellence and accountability in our daily pursuit to fulfill our mission.
